Access to the Amr Ibn El As Mosque and the Abram Ibn Azr Synagogue is limited to exterior views. However, the itinerary includes visits to important Coptic churches. Notable among these are the Suspended Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Sergius Church. The latter is significant as it served as a refuge for the Holy Family in Egypt. Visitors can view the crypt where they are believed to have stayed.
The Egyptian Museum, located in Tahrir Square, houses over 1,700 artifacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb. This includes the iconic golden mask of the pharaoh, showcasing the opulence of ancient Egyptian civilization.
